You probably heard a lot when it comes to immunity these days, it’s our first line of defense against coronavirus and other infections as well.
When I was really young my parents wanted to explain to me what the immune system was and why I should take really good care if it, so the basically told me that I have different types of soldiers in my body that know how to defend me against the bad microbes.
The only way I can make those soldiers strong is by feeding them healthy food so they can make sure I stay strong.
Here’s a list of your go tos so that YOUR soldiers can stay strong and healthy:
1-Sleep: super important in make sure your body is renewed.
2-Vitamin C: Found in bell peppers, strawberries, guava, spinach and kale.
3-Almonds, walnuts and sunflower seeds are an excellent source of vitamin E.
4-Selenium found in garlic, tuna and sardine has a powerful effect on the immune system.
5-Zinc found in chickpeas, yoghurt and baked beans controls the body’s inflammatory response
6-Iron which is abundant in lean protein such as poultry and also beans and broccoli.
7-Vitamin D is super important for the immune system and it’s the only vitamin that needs testing so that you can take it as a supplement.
